Today's guest is Dr. Danielle Dick. Dr. Dick's research focuses on how genetic and environmental influences contribute to the development of patterns of substance use. We go over 3 major pathways to addiction. And discuss how the environment can reduce risk. This is huge for our adolescent population. (i.e. selection of peer groups).
