How D.J.’s earliest roots were “tangled,
buried, diseased and complex.” Learn why D.J. thought he was
adopted (even at a young age) because things were “just so
bad.”
D.J. talks about his fearful experience of
spirituality growing up and how God would not “show up for” him and
he had proof that God was not showing up.
D.J. feels all of what he went through led him
to the person he is today-a healer.
D.J.’s recovery journal began when he felt like
“giving up” but then went to Al-Anon and discovered his husband
wasn’t really the issue and that he was the issue.
D.J. feels he is “not a bad person” he’s just
been to hell and back. And survived.
When working the 4th & 5th steps, D.J. was
tasked with outline all the things he accomplished prior to getting
sober. And D.J. felt this was what broke him.
How D.J. was sending people to 12 steps before
he started getting help and going to 12 step meetings.
What was so “serene” about being in these 12
step meetings and finding a sponsor.
What behaviors D.J. engaged in that contributed
to his recovery.
What is Co-Dependency and what do healthy
boundaries look like.
