Atheists in Recovery

Dec 3, 2020

Welcome to today’s show!

WHAT WE’LL LEARN:

This episode features a few of our past guests. Each guest submitted an audio recording answering the question: “What’s the one affirmation I use in recovery.” The holidays are upon us and not everyone loves the holidays! Affirmations can be a great way to focus your attention on something positive. This episode is also the last new episode of 2020. After this episode, I am taking December off but I will be back in January with brand new episodes.

  • Rob Imbeault shares how this “cheesy” affirmation changed his future self through new habits, motivation and perseverance

Rob’s website is: https://www.robimbeault.com/

  • Dr. Brandon Bergman shares a reminder of how to get through the holidays sober through a acronym that has been empirically proven to work

Dr. Bergman’s website is: https://www.recoveryanswers.org/

  • Adina shares her holiday affirmation and how she uses it in her extensive morning routine
